The complete Workflow section has been updated based on the work we did this fall.

The Extend Core Components course has been updated with a new eLearn presentation and with new examples. The course now includes 2 proxy component examples: the datepicker proxy — “Default to Current Date” and the textinput proxy — “Display Format panel”.

In Core Component forms, the AEM Forms Rule Editor works differently than it did with the legacy Foundation components. This new Rule Editor course shows practical techniques for adding functionality to our Core Component forms.

Unlike Foundation Components, there is no Code Editor in Core Components. However, there are at least 3 times (3X) the number of built-in functions we had in Foundation Components. We can also create our own Custom Functions for Core Components.

You can now download a complete VMWare Image for Maven development. This is an options for those of you who cannot create a Maven Project in your localhost environment.
