Our AEM Forms Training Classes are on Thursdays at 2PM EST. The first 30 minutes is a lecture, presentation and demo of the topic by J.P. Terry. If you can stay beyond the 30 minutes, you are welcome to participate in the group exercise(s) until 4PM. If you can't stay, you can do the exercise on your own time with the Student Manual PDF. Each lecture is also available in online eLearning format on the subsequent Monday.
- 8-14-2025: Author Functions with Core Components:
This hands-on course introduces Adobe AEM Forms Authors to the new Visual Rules Editor, the exclusive tool for implementing dynamic behavior in Core Component Forms. Participants will learn how to create and manage form logic visually, replacing the legacy approach of embedding JavaScript via the Code Editor in Foundation Component Forms. Through practical exercises and guided instruction, students will gain confidence in building responsive, rule-driven forms using the latest AEM capabilities. - 8-21-2025: Custom Author Functions:
This advanced course empowers Adobe AEM Forms Authors to extend the capabilities of the Visual Rules Editor by creating Custom Author Functions. While the editor includes 37 built-in functions, complex form logic often requires custom solutions. Students will learn how to design, implement, and integrate two custom functions into Core Component adaptive forms, enabling more dynamic and tailored form behavior beyond the out-of-the-box options.
