Q: AEM Forms Server Security and Maintenance
I recently followed the documentation to create a new AEM Author Server. What are the most important steps to take to secure my server?

Hi Dan, As my professor once said, “You can bury a PC in a block of concrete 25 feet by 25 feet and it still will not be secure”. This was his way of putting security into perspective for us. There are online materials and checklists from Adobe that will really lock down your server; some of the guidance actually takes away key functionality. You always need to balance security with functionality. Do you really want to live without CRXDE Lite? I’d recommend following all the techniques in the Administration section. You can find it here.
